Harry Kane (31, Bayern Munich) recently addressed the transfer rumors surrounding him, stating they are not true.
British media outlet 'The Standard' reported on the 1st (Korea time) that "Kane, who is contracted with Munich until the summer of 2027, is unlikely to transfer at this time."
According to the media, Kane said, "I am satisfied living in Munich. I am not considering transferring to another league or team."
He added, "I do not know where the transfer rumors are coming from. They are just random stories. I am not one to look ahead. I am satisfied playing here now, and my teammates and coaching staff are fantastic."
Still, he noted, "Football is a sport where a lot can happen in a short time. But right now, I am focusing only on the present." This indicated that he was not completely ruling out future changes.
The transfer rumors surrounding Kane were sparked by the 'buyout clause' in his contract. Christian Falk, a reporter from German media 'Bild,' recently noted, "Kane's contract includes a buyout clause, and if a club presents that amount, a transfer is possible." Consequently, the possibility of Kane returning to England has surged.
Surprisingly, Liverpool, rather than his 'hometown team' Tottenham, has emerged as a strong candidate for his next destination. 'Football Insider' reported on the 24th of last month, citing Spanish media 'El Nacional,' that "Kane wants to finish his career in England and prefers Liverpool."
'Football Insider' assessed, "At a time when questions are raised about Liverpool's attacking line, Kane could be a definitive answer at the forefront."
Mick Brown, a former Tottenham scout, shared a similar view. He said, "From what I’ve heard, Kane wants to return to England. Manchester United is interested, but financial situations are challenging. In contrast, Liverpool is financially more stable."
However, despite the recurring transfer rumors, Kane's position remains firm. He has once again expressed his desire to "stay."
