The 'Doosan Construction We've Championship,' held at Dongnae Benest Golf Club from April 3rd for four days, marks the beginning of the KLPGA 2025 season. This tournament is the KLPGA opening event being hosted in Busan for the first time in 18 years. The organizers are raising expectations, stating that it will be a special festival where players, galleries, and the local community come together.

This year, the 'Doosan Construction We've Championship' is attracting attention with its operational methods that differentiate it from existing tournaments. To allow for a more free viewing experience for galleries, no roping or advertising boards will be installed on the course, enabling fans to watch the players' play up close. Additionally, to commemorate the 65th anniversary of Doosan Construction, 6.5% of ticket revenue will be donated back to the local community, and every time players tee off at the We’ve Zone created on the 10th hole, they will accumulate 500,000 won (up to 20 million won) for meaningful donation activities.

Similar to last year, a limited edition player autograph book will be issued at this tournament. Fans can obtain autographs directly from players during the tournament, and the two individuals who collect the most autographs by the end of the season will receive benefits to participate in the 2026 tournament pro-am.

Doosan Construction launched the autograph book event at last year's tournament, receiving a great response from fans. In fact, there were numerous posts in the fan community certifying the autograph book, and galleries could easily be spotted with their autograph books seeking to get autographs from players up until the end of the season. After the season concluded, Doosan Construction selected the two individuals who collected the most autographs and honored their 'promise' by inviting them to the 2025 pro-am.

This year, for the first time, limited edition T-shirts designed by golf team players will be created. Fans can purchase T-shirts featuring their favorite players and, upon certification, participate in the 'Wear and Share T-shirt event,' where they can win limited edition autograph books through a raffle. Additionally, all revenue from T-shirt sales will be donated in the name of the respective player, allowing fans to participate directly in donation activities.

Furthermore, during the tournament, an event will take place where fans wearing the T-shirt can post certifications on social media with essential hashtags for a chance to win an autograph book through a raffle.

The 'Doosan Construction We've Championship' is a tournament created together by players and fans, featuring various fan participation events.

First, the 'Autograph Book Challenge' taking place at the venue requires fans to collect autographs from more than 20 players during the tournament and certifies them for a chance to receive special prizes.

Additionally, at the gallery plaza, the '1-on-1 Speed Quiz Challenge' related to the tournament and Doosan Construction We've Golf Team will be held. Galleries will compete against the host in a quiz challenge regarding the 'Doosan Construction We've Championship' and Doosan Construction We've players, with limited edition player autograph books awarded to winning participants.

Moreover, during the tournament, Doosan Construction will operate fan participation events based on five keywords: HAVE, LIVE, LOVE, SAVE, and SOLVE, providing time for communication with fans.

A representative from Doosan Construction noted, "The 'Doosan Construction We've Championship' is becoming a tournament where galleries can go beyond simply watching the game and partake in various programs that allow interaction with players. I hope many galleries visit the site for a special experience, especially since it is the season opener for 2025."

As the KLPGA opening event, this tournament will see top-level players representing women's golf in South Korea competing for the championship. Since all players ranked within the top 60 in the 2024 season prize money in the country will participate, fierce competition is expected. Doosan Construction will provide accommodations for families to stay together, supporting players in focusing more on their games while balancing the tour and parenting.

A representative from Doosan Construction stated, "The 'Doosan Construction We've Championship' is establishing itself as a tournament where players, galleries, and the local community come together. We will spare no support to ensure players can display their best skills and will operate various programs to enhance the enjoyment of the tournament for fans."
