Japanese media quickly reported the news that a female fan, who was receiving treatment for a head injury sustained in the accident at Changwon NC Park, has died.

On the 29th, during the game between NC and LG held at Changwon NC Park, at around 5:20 p.m., a structure (2.6 meters long, 40 centimeters wide aluminum "louver") fixed to the wall near the concession stand on the third base side fell, injuring three spectators below. Among the three injured in this incident, two were sisters in their 20s who had come to watch the baseball game together.

The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) conducted safety inspections of various structures and facilities inside and outside the stadium at four venues (Gocheok Sky Dome, Jamsil Stadium, Hanwha Life Park, Sajik Stadium) where games were held on the 30th, excluding Changwon NC Park. Additionally, in respect for the recovery of the injured spectators from the Changwon NC Park accident, the games on the 30th proceeded with minimal cheering.

The woman who sustained a head injury was moved to the hospital in critical condition and underwent surgery. While awaiting recovery in the intensive care unit, she ultimately passed away. Her younger sister also sustained a clavicle fracture and received treatment at the hospital. Another individual was injured in the leg and was transported to the hospital due to significant mental shock.

Japanese sports outlet "Sponichi Annex" reported on the 31st, citing domestic reports, that "a female fan in her 20s who was injured in the head due to the falling structure at the home stadium of the Korea Professional Baseball NC Dinos has died."

The outlet also added, "The game between LG and NC scheduled for the 30th has been postponed due to this falling debris incident, and the upcoming games between SSG and NC scheduled for the 1st to the 3rd of next month at Changwon NC Park will be held without spectators.”

Given that follow-up safety inspections related to the falling structure incident are expected to take time, the KBO, NC, and SSG have agreed to conduct games without spectators.

Meanwhile, NC released a statement on its official social media on the 31st, saying, "One person who was injured in the accident that occurred on March 29 at Changwon NC Park has passed away. We offer our sincere condolences and express our deep sympathy. We extend heartfelt apologies and words of comfort to the bereaved family."
