Lee Jung-hoo, the 'Son of the Wind' and outfielder for the San Francisco Giants, played a brilliant supporting role in a thrilling comeback drama with his insane foresight.

On the 28th (Korea time), Lee Jung-hoo started as the No. 3 center fielder in an away game against the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio, recording no hits in two at-bats, two walks, and two runs.

Lee Jung-hoo came to bat in his first at-bat with two outs and no runners on base in the first inning but struck out on three pitches against Cincinnati starter Hunter Greene. After one out in the fourth, Lee took a walk against Hunter Greene and scored on Elliott Ramos' two-run homer.

In the sixth inning, with no outs and no runners on base, Lee Jung-hoo stepped into the batter's box for his third at-bat. He struck out swinging for strike three after a full count against Cincinnati's second pitcher, Scott Barron. In the ninth inning, after one out, Lee drew a walk, landing on third base with Matt Chapman's single to right field. Elliott Ramos struck out, but Patrick Bailey drove in a run, tying the game at 3-3.

Meanwhile, thanks to Lee Jung-hoo's performance, San Francisco staged a comeback with a 6-4 victory.

San Francisco arranged its lineup with first baseman LaMonte Wade, shortstop Willy Adames, center fielder Lee Jung-hoo, third baseman Matt Chapman, left fielder Elliott Ramos, catcher Patrick Bailey, designated hitter Wilmer Flores, right fielder Mike Yastrzemski, and second baseman Tyler Fitzgerald. The starting pitcher was Logan Webb.

Cincinnati, with Hunter Greene as the starting pitcher, constructed their lineup with center fielder T.J. Friedl, second baseman Matt McLain, shortstop Elly De La Cruz, left fielder Gavin Lux, third baseman Aimer Candelario, designated hitter Spencer Steer, first baseman Christian Encarnacion-Strand, right fielder Jake Fraley, and catcher Jose Trevino.

In the third inning, Cincinnati had a bases-loaded opportunity with T.J. Friedl's single, Elly De La Cruz's single, and Gavin Lux's infield hit. Aimer Candelario hit a single to right field, bringing in two runs. In the fourth inning, San Francisco kicked off a rally as Elliott Ramos launched a two-run homer after a 10-pitch battle.

In the ninth inning, trailing by one run, Lee Jung-hoo's walk and Matt Chapman's hit set up a no-out opportunity with runners on first and third. Elliott Ramos struck out, but Patrick Bailey hit a single to tie the game at 3-3. In the continued one-out, first and third opportunity, Wilmer Flores hit a three-run homer. Cincinnati scored one run in the bottom of the ninth but could not narrow the gap further.

San Francisco manager Bob Melvin noted, "In baseball, walks can be more important at times. Lee Jung-hoo proved that twice in today's game."
