The Korea Football Association, 17 regional football associations, and 3 national federations decided to donate approximately 60 million won to help residents in the Ulsan-Gyeongbuk-Gyeongnam region recover from the damage caused by the wildfires and restore their daily lives.
The Korea Football Association will donate 20 million won, and the 17 regional football associations and 3 national federations are expected to contribute collectively. The funds will be delivered through the Korean Red Cross on the 4th.
A representative from the Korea Football Association noted, "We send condolences to those who are suffering from the recent wildfires in the football community, and we hope the recovery from the wildfire damage is swift and that residents can return to their daily lives, even in a small way."
