The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) and 10 teams are aware of the seriousness of the illegal ticket sales that have surged in line with the explosive popularity of the KBO League and plan to discuss measures for improvement, including sharing responses from each team.

The 10 teams have already coordinated with their ticket sales outlets to limit the number of purchases and the quantity per booking ID online and are operating a CAPTCHA system to prevent macro fraudulent reservations. They are also detecting and blocking suspicious macro IDs and are receiving reports through the Korean Professional Sports Association's illegal ticket reporting center.

The KBO and 10 teams plan to continuously maintain a cooperative system to minimize the damage to fans suffering from illegal ticket sales both online and offline. They also plan to establish a cooperative system with relevant government departments, including the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the police, to strengthen surveillance both online and offline.

Meanwhile, the KBO has published the 2025 KBO yearbook, guidebook, record book, and official baseball rules.

The 2025 KBO yearbook includes a summary of the season of the 10 teams from the last season, major records, the status of attracting 10 million spectators— a first in professional sports history— and various information related to the KBO League for the 2024 season. Additionally, the yearbook contains overall content about the history of the KBO League, including annual team rankings and individual and team records.

The guidebook includes a list of all players registered for the 2025 KBO League along with major profiles and photographs.

The record book features all-time extraordinary records from the KBO League. It is organized by categories, including major records for pitchers and hitters, as well as records for home runs, walk-offs, rookies, and foreign players.

The official baseball rules cover definitions of baseball terminology and details about changes in 2025. The 2025 KBO regular publication will be sold starting at 3 p.m. on the 28th at the official sales outlet, the KBO Market.
