The Korea Skating Union noted that the "2025 National Men's and Women's Elementary, Middle, High School, University, and Professional Speed Skating (hereinafter ‘speed’) Championships will be held from the 28th to the 30th at the Taereung International Skate Park."
This competition will combine the "2025 Korea Professional Skating Federation President's Cup Speed Competition," the "58th National Men's and Women's University Speed Competition," the "60th National Men's and Women's Middle and High School Speed Competition," and the "38th National Men's and Women's Elementary School Speed Competition."
Over the three days, events will take place for men and women in the 500m, 1000m, 1500m, 3000m, men's 5000m, mass start, and team pursuit.
On the first day of the competition, the men's and women's 500m, mass start, men's 5000m, and elementary level 2000m events will be held, while the men's and women's 1000m and 3000m, and elementary level 800m events will take place on the second day.
On the final day of the competition, the men's and women's 1500m and team pursuit events will be conducted.
This competition is expected to be the last speed event hosted by the Korea Skating Union for the 2024-25 season, with approximately 250 student and professional team athletes anticipated to participate.
