Kiwoom Heroes will hold various events for the home opening game of the 2025 season against SSG Landers on the 28th (Friday) at 6:30 p.m. at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
The title of the opening event, "Leap: Prelude to Heroes, Ready Kium!", symbolizes that all members of the Kiwoom Heroes have united their efforts to prepare for the season. In particular, it emphasizes unity and strength by combining the 2025 season catchphrase with the main sponsor Kiwoom Securities' commercial slogan "Ready Kium!".
"Hero's declaration" will be signaled with sand art at the start of the event. The sand art will represent the players preparing to leap this season and the fans supporting them.
Next, a performance titled "Hero, Ready Kium!" will be presented. Manager Hong Won-ki and captain Song Seong-mun will complete a catchphrase sculpture by assembling a puzzle with Kium Lee members, annual members, cheerleaders, Ttakdori, Kiwoom Heroes CEO Wi Jae-min, and Kiwoom Securities CEO Eom Joo-seong.
The scoreboard will display the opening video featuring the team's declarations. Following this, the players from both teams will be introduced, and Kiwoom's Director General Ko Hyeong-wook will present bouquets to Manager Hong Won-ki and SSG's Lee Sung-yong. Kiwoom Securities CEO Eom Joo-seong will present bouquets to the team captains, Song Seong-mun and Kim Gwang-hyun. The players will enter the field while high-fiving ten fans.
At Gate B, the cheer team will greet fans with a welcoming gesture. Fans will also have the chance to take commemorative photos with the newly organized cheer team.
A social media relay event will also take place. Using the catchphrase image, fans can take a jump certification photo symbolizing their leap and upload it on social media with the hashtags "#KiwoomHeroes, #2025_HeroLeap_Challenge." Winning entries will be revealed on the scoreboard and awarded prizes.
On the day of the game, the national anthem will be sung by soprano Choi Jeong-won. Choi is known for her deep voice and moving musicality, with representative songs such as "The Hymn" and "Dream of Love" being beloved by the public. She is currently a guest professor in the Vocal Department at Hansei University.
Choi Jeong-won said, "It is an honor to sing the national anthem again this season at Kiwoom's home opening series, following last year. I will sing with all my might so that we can achieve victory."
The honorary first pitch will be thrown by actress Park Jeong-hwa, the first actor from "Enter Hero." Park, who is a member of the girl group "EXID," was appointed as the club's promotional ambassador last year and has participated in major club events, promoting Kiwoom's vision and marketing.
Park Jeong-hwa said, "I am glad to be able to be with Kiwoom again this season as an Enter Hero. It is an honor to open the season as the first pitch thrower for the home opening game. I hope the 2025 season marks the beginning of a high leap for the heroes, and I will support them."
