ITZY's Yeji throws ceremonial first pitch for LG Twins' game against Hanwha

The Seoul LG Twins will hold a ceremonial first pitch ahead of their third game against the Hanwha Eagles at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on March 27.

The first pitch for the third game against Hanwha will be conducted by ITZY member 'Yeji', who previously threw the first pitch in 2019 and batted in 2023.

Yeji, a member of the five-member girl group ITZY under JYP Entertainment, officially debuted with 'Dalla Dalla' and released her first solo album 'AIR' and the title track 'Air' on March 10, and is currently active as a solo artist.

ITZY's first solo act Yeji's title track 'Air' is a synth-pop genre song characterized by its strong bass sound and addictive hook, with Yeji participating in the lyrics to add authenticity, while JYP's representative producer Park Jin-young (J.Y. Park) is credited to enhance its completeness.

Yeji, the ceremonial first pitch thrower, said, “I am happy to be able to come and support the LG Twins again! I will do my best to cheer hard to give the players good energy!”
