The professional baseball team LG Twins has once again set a new attendance record.
LG faced off against Hanwha in the second match of the season at Jamsil Stadium on the 26th.
The LG organization stated, "The LG versus Hanwha game is sold out. The total attendance is 23,750, with the sell-out time at 6:58 p.m. This is the fourth sold-out home game for the LG Twins in the 2025 season."
This marks a series of four consecutive sold-out games. LG recorded sold-out attendance in both games against Lotte on the 23rd and 24th, and also achieved a sell-out in the game against Hanwha on the 25th. Up until today, it has been four consecutive sell-outs for the opening games.
The LG organization noted, "According to KBO inquiries, today’s sell-out marks the first instance of four consecutive sell-outs for an opening series since 2001, and the first record in KBO League history."
The previous day, the sell-out for the three opening games on the 25th was also a KBO record. LG has now extended this record to four games.
