Reports continue that Tottenham is keeping the possibility of Son Heung-min's (33, Tottenham) transfer open.

British media outlet 'Give Me Sport' reported on the 24th (Korea time) that 'Tottenham is seriously considering the sale of Son Heung-min. Sending him away could be one of the most significant decisions in the club's history.'

On the same day, Tottenham fan community 'Tottenham Hotspur News' also noted that 'Son Heung-min's slump is unfortunate. It may only be a matter of time before his performance ends,' and added, 'If Tottenham finds a suitable replacement, they could let him go in the summer transfer market.'

Son Heung-min, who has appeared in 26 Premier League matches and scored 6 goals, is being evaluated as not meeting expectations this season. Locally, there is attention on his performance gradually declining.

'Give Me Sport' added, 'If you combine the weekly wages of Son Heung-min, Richarlison, and Timo Werner, it amounts to about 800 million won. Organizing some of the three would greatly help the club's finances. Tottenham needs to make a decision regarding the reorganization of their attacking line, and Son Heung-min is no exception.'

The media specifically analyzed Son Heung-min, stating, 'He has been an icon of Tottenham for years and is one of the best Premier League players of all time. However, the slowdown has recently begun, and his performance has noticeably declined compared to the past. It may be time to secure cash before the situation worsens.'

Jamie O'Hara, a Tottenham youth graduate and currently a commentator, continued his criticism of Son Heung-min. He said, 'Son Heung-min is no longer suitable to be the captain of Tottenham,' arguing, 'The lack of leadership stems from both him and the manager. Instead of leading the team, he is disturbing the harmony.'

He also raised his voice, stating, 'He was a fantastic player and has given many memories to Tottenham. However, at a time when the team needs to be unified, he should step down from the captaincy. A new leader is needed.'

O'Hara mentioned that he is experiencing backlash from Korean fans following his criticism of Son Heung-min. He noted, 'My social media account is flooded with hate comments 24 hours a day. However, my thoughts do not change,' reiterating, 'Son Heung-min was once the best in the world, but he is not anymore. He is no longer accomplishing anything. It is now time for him to leave the team.'

Martin Allen, a former Brentford manager, also provided a similar evaluation. He stated, 'Son Heung-min is no longer maintaining his speed as he once did. His frequency of seizing goal chances has also decreased,' adding, 'It wouldn't be surprising if he is transferred. His skills could attract interest from Championship (2nd Division) teams.'

Jermaine Defoe, a former Tottenham striker, also expressed a similar viewpoint. In an interview with 'Sports Mall,' he remarked, 'It is natural for players to move to new teams as they age. Tottenham is likely looking for a replacement for Son Heung-min.'

Expectations are growing that Tottenham might seriously begin reorganization of their attacking line from this season, with the issue of Son Heung-min's future at the center.
