Brazilian attacking prospect Endrick (19, Real Madrid) is considering a transfer after one year.

Britain's 'Sportmall' reported on the 25th (Korean time) that Endrick, who is playing for Real Madrid, is seriously considering a transfer due to concerns that he may be excluded from the 2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup roster.

Endrick transferred to Real Madrid from Palmeiras (Brazil) during a signing ceremony last summer. Despite his young age, Endrick demonstrated remarkable decision-making ability, catching the eye of major clubs early on. Real Madrid also announced the signing of Endrick in an official statement made in December 2022.

However, Endrick is struggling with a lack of playing time within the competitive Real Madrid squad. He has played a total of 28 matches this season, including 16 league games. However, he has only accumulated 496 minutes of play, including just 105 minutes in the league, and has not started a single match.

Endrick's lack of playing opportunities has also affected his selection for the Brazilian national team. Initially, Endrick was excluded from the roster announced ahead of this month's A-match games against Colombia and Argentina. However, he was fortunate to be called up after Neymar was injured.

Endrick remained on the bench during the match against Colombia on the 21st, which Brazil won 2-1 (lost 1-2). In a recent interview with Brazilian legend Romário, Endrick expressed, "To be honest, the thought that occupies my mind the most is the fear that I might not be able to participate in the World Cup."

Endrick emphasized, "Romário also had a similar experience. My father told me that Romário waited for the announcement of the 1998 France World Cup roster but ultimately was not selected."

Endrick spoke about seizing opportunities at Real Madrid, stating, "Of course it's difficult. I have to compete with world-class players at the best club in the world. I can't always expect to have opportunities."

He continued, "But I want to show myself every time I play to be included in the national team," adding, "I want to play for the Brazilian national team next year, and if it is God's will, I hope we can win the World Cup."

Endrick made his debut for the Brazilian national team in November 2023 and has so far played in 13 A-matches, scoring three goals. He aims for his 14th A-match appearance in the upcoming South American qualifier against Argentina on the 26th.
