The 3rd Hanwha Eagles High School and University All-Star Game, co-hosted by the Korea Baseball Softball Association and Hanwha Eagles, will be held on June 2 at 6 p.m. at Daejeon Hanwha Life Ballpark.

This tournament, now in its third year, has previously attracted strong support from amateur baseball fans as the top players from high schools and universities form all-star teams and engage in fierce competitions. Notably, it will be held at Daejeon Hanwha Life Ballpark, the new stadium of Hanwha Eagles, featuring state-of-the-art facilities and night games, promising an unforgettable experience for participating players and fans.

The association and Hanwha Eagles signed a business agreement last year for the regular hosting of the Hanwha Eagles High School and University All-Star Game and committed to jointly promote the activation of amateur baseball culture and provide enjoyment to fans.

They are pursuing various events and collaborative projects, and expect the All-Star Game to motivate student athletes, facilitate regular exchanges between high school and university players, enhance university baseball, and improve the level of high school and university baseball.

The coaching staff for each team in the high school and university All-Star Game will be selected from publicly recruited national team coaches, including youth, university, and general division national team coaches. A total of 24 players will be selected for each position, with two outstanding players from each category—outfielders and pitchers—chosen based on game records, while the rest will be selected during a player selection meeting that will include heads of scouting teams from 10 professional organizations prior to the tournament.

The game will be played in a 9-inning format, and extra innings will be held up to the 10th inning. All selected players must participate in the game, and there will also be a home run race featuring 5 participants from each high school and university team. The tournament games will be broadcast live on the EaglesTV YouTube channel.
