The Korea Baseball Softball Association (President Yang Hae-young, KBSA) is hosting the 2025 Shinsegae Emart National High School Baseball Championship, which will kick off in Miryang, Gyeongsangnam-do, on the 26th, with sponsorship from Shinsegae Emart and Miryang City.

The 2025 Shinsegae Emart National High School Baseball Championship is a tournament in which all teams registered for the under-18 division in 2025 will participate, with a record 102 teams competing for the championship title.

The tournament will open on the 26th at three venues, including two fields at Sunshine Miryang Sports Park and Gagok Baseball Field, and from the round of 16, games will move to Mokdong Baseball Stadium, with the highly anticipated final taking place at SSG Landers Field on April 13.

Celebrating its fourth year, the tournament, supported actively by Shinsegae Emart, will award the champion a prize of 30 million won, the runner-up 20 million won, and 5 million won each to the two teams that tie for third place. The final, held at Incheon’s SSG Landers Field, promises a grand awards ceremony reminiscent of the Korean Series, providing various attractions and benefits, making it one of the most satisfying tournaments for participating teams and players.

Shinsegae Emart noted that it will continue its ongoing sponsorship efforts to support and encourage the dreams and passions of student baseball players. This year, it has also introduced the 'local community mileage program' allowing a portion of the revenue from purchases made at Emart to be donated to the association.

Meanwhile, the association has recruited college student reporters for active promotion and content creation for the 2025 Shinsegae Emart National High School Baseball Championship, planning to cover major games and produce and distribute various content. All matches before the tournament's quarterfinals will be broadcasted live on the official YouTube channel of the Korea Baseball Softball Association, starting from the quarterfinals, live coverage will be provided through the main broadcaster SPOTV’s high school baseball series.
