The professional baseball SSG Landers has achieved back-to-back opening victories.

SSG won 5-2 against the Doosan Bears in the '2025 Shinhan Bank SOL Bank KBO League' at Incheon SSG Landers Field on the 23rd. Following a 6-5 comeback victory in the opening game, they celebrated a full house for the opening two games with another win on this day.

In the top of the sixth, Doosan’s leadoff batter Kang Seung-ho hit a double, quickly putting them in scoring position. Yang Seok-hwan and Park Jun-young both went down silently, but Lee Yu-chan hit a one-RBI single, knocking Kim Gwang-hyun off the mound. However, Jeong Su-bin was caught on a foul fly to third base, failing to create additional scoring opportunities.

In the bottom of the seventh, SSG's leadoff batter Ahn Sang-hyun hit a single, forcing Logan to exit the game. Following Ahn Sang-hyun's steal and Park Ji-hwan's single, with no outs and runners on first and third, Choi Ji-hoon hit a one-RBI single, and even though Jeong Jun-jae struck out, Heredia added to the lead with a sacrifice fly.

In the top of the eighth, Doosan had a one-out, runners on first and third opportunity with a double by Kang Seung-ho and a hit from Yang Seok-hwan. However, Park Jun-young struck out, and Lee Yu-chan grounded out to third base, squandering the scoring opportunity. SSG's closer, Jo Byeong-hyun, wrapped up the game with a victory in the ninth.
