LG achieved a pleasant 12-2 victory against Lotte in the 2025 KBO League opening game held at Jamsil Stadium on the 22nd.
The team's lineup exploded for 15 hits, effectively targeting Lotte's starting pitcher Charlie Barnes, scoring 7 runs by the 3rd inning to take control of the game. They scored 3 runs in the 1st, including a two-run homer by Moon Bo-kyung, and added 4 more runs with 3 hits and 2 walks in the 3rd. In the 8th, they contributed an additional 3 runs with a solo homer by Oh Ji-hwan, securing a 10-run victory.
