The Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation expands the model of sports social contribution through the operation of a donation-based skybox
All contributions from the Sky Club project will be used for the discovery and nurturing of youth baseball players
The Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation will operate the 'Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation Skybox' at Daejeon Hanwha Life Eagles Park during the 2025 KBO regular season. This skybox operation is designed to allow donors to participate in sharing for the development of youth baseball while enjoying the game in a more special environment.
The Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation introduces a new method of social contribution that combines donations with game watching for the first time in domestic professional baseball, and plans to create substantial funds for supporting youth baseball players and spreading a culture of donation through sports.
The skybox, a key space in the Sky Club project, is a premium baseball viewing facility in room form, installed separately from general seating. The Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation Skybox is designed for 25 people, providing the best viewing seats in the stadium and the optimal game watching environment. Donors will be offered refreshments and a welcome gift, allowing them to enjoy the game in a more comfortable and private space.
The Sky Club project of the Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation will be conducted in a form differentiated from the existing skybox operation method. Sponsors who donate more than a certain amount will be given the opportunity to use the skybox, allowing them to participate not only in game watching but also in social contribution activities. Additionally, special events inviting socially vulnerable groups and youth baseball players, along with donor networking programs, will be planned to establish a 'culture of shared giving' beyond simple sports viewing.
Chairman Ryu Hyun-jin noted, "I wanted to create a space where donors could directly watch baseball and have a special experience. I hope many people can enjoy the game in a more meaningful way while providing practical help to youth baseball players. I expect that through this Sky Club project, donors will have a special experience on-site and be able to practice sharing."
The donations generated through the Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation Sky Club project will be fully used for support projects aimed at discovering and nurturing youth baseball players.
