The LG club noted, "'Forever LG' is remembered by LG fans as a song that contains their longing and sorrow, going beyond just a cheer song, and it was chosen as the 'cheer song fans most wanted to sing' and 'the cheer song they wanted to sing the most during the 2023 championship' through fan advisory groups. This song, unlike typical cheer song lyrics, embodies the fans' feelings of 'loving forever' rather than 'victory,' and it is a cheer song that can be felt in its grandeur when all LG fans sing it together in the late stages of the game."

To respond to fans' desire and requests to sing the 'Forever LG' cheer song again, the LG club has continuously inquired and requested Universal Music Publishing, which manages the copyright of the song, since 2017. LG fans also voluntarily sent request direct messages to the original creators asking for permission to use the cheer song. Ultimately, with the persistent efforts of the fans and the club, and the cooperation of Universal Music Publishing, final approval was obtained to use 'Forever LG' as a cheer song starting in February 2025.

Thus, 'Forever LG' was reborn as a cheer song that can be sung together with fans again during the second half of every game, starting from the home opener of the 2025 season. On this day, 'Forever LG' echoed through the Jamsil Stadium in the 7th inning. The cheer song 'Forever LG', resounding after 9 years, further intensified the atmosphere of victory as LG led 7-2.
