Korea Sports (KOSPI) reporter Kang Hee-su noted that Daum Sports is once again revamping to provide a new joy to baseball-loving fans.

Kakao (CEO Jeong Sin-a) and Content CIC (CEO Yang Ju-il) announced on the 21st that the portal Daum has revamped the 'Daum Sports Baseball Game Center' ahead of the 2025 professional baseball season opener. Baseball fans can now more easily and quickly access live broadcasts and various information, as well as enjoy various participatory services.

First, the broadcasting service has been enhanced so users can intuitively grasp the real-time game situation of the entire stadium. They will showcase a more vivid broadcast by upgrading the 'graphical broadcast' that visually represents the real-time game conditions and the 'field view' that shows the stadium situation, providing live scores, base situations, and more. A real-time scoring text broadcast has also introduced a latest-first option to ensure that key moments of the game are not missed.

The method of providing game information has also been significantly improved to maximize user convenience. Users can see team strength, pitcher-batter information, and real-time matchups at a glance. After the game, results will be summarized by AI for quick verification of the game results. Moreover, by linking with the weather service, users can easily grasp the weather at each stadium.

Services that directly involve users, such as 'Bider Legend,' have also been created to enhance enjoyment. 'Bider Legend,' available for participation in the Daum app, is an event where users can predict which batter among the 10 teams will hit. If the selected batter records a hit in the actual game, the prediction is deemed successful. Users who successfully predict for 40 consecutive games will share a total prize of 50 million won (including taxes).

Additionally, to facilitate communication among baseball fans, community services link each team's Daum Cafe 'table' on the game page. Features such as cheering voting and cheering comments, as well as game-specific MVP voting functionality, have been added to enable users to select the most valuable player.
