Tving is launching a special promotion with CGV ahead of the 2025 KBO League opening.

On the 20th, Tving and CGV will showcase a video on movie viewing etiquette utilizing various footage from the KBO League at CGV theaters nationwide. This video creatively leverages interesting moments captured in past KBO games to introduce movie etiquette. It naturally incorporates impressive plays by famous baseball players and enthusiastic reactions from the audience into movie etiquette, leading to a more enjoyable viewing culture for baseball fans.

This promotion also includes regional screening ads featuring fans of each team from the Tving original 'Baseball Representative 2'. In Gwangju, the home of the KIA Tigers, Yoon Seok-min appears; in Daegu, home of the Samsung Lions, singer Woody; in Seoul, home of the LG Twins, actor Yoon Park; and in Seoul, home of the Doosan Bears, former Doosan pitcher Yoo Hee-kwan also makes an appearance.

Also, in Suwon, the home of the KT Wiz, basketball star Ha Seung-jin; in Incheon, home of the SSG Landers, broadcaster Ji Sang-ryeol; in Busan, home of the Lotte Giants, 'Legend of Lotte' Lee Dae-ho; in Daejeon, home of the Hanwha Eagles, YouTuber Magic Park; in Changwon, home of the NC Dinos, comedian Kim Dong-ha; and in Seoul, home of the Kiwoom Heroes, 'Strong Baseball' official pitcher Shin Jae-young will communicate directly with fans as the face of each team. The national ad will feature former professional baseball players Yoon Seok-min and Yoo Hee-kwan, as well as actor Yoon Park.

This collaboration is expected to effectively combine the two popular cultural contents of baseball and movies, enhancing Tving's recognition for sports content and providing a differentiated movie theater experience for CGV. In particular, through regionally specialized content, it enables a friendlier approach to fans of each team, while also introducing new sports content to audiences who previously had no interest in baseball.

A Tving official noted, "This collaboration with CGV will be a great opportunity for Tving's sports content to be introduced to more audiences," adding, "It will not only provide a richer content experience for baseball fans but also the joy of discovering new sports content for moviegoers."

In addition, Tving is holding a consumer event called 'Find Tving' that anyone can participate in to celebrate the 2025 KBO opening. When participants discover the Tving logo while watching or viewing baseball, they should take a confirmation shot, upload it to their personal Instagram with the event hashtag and tag the Tving official account, and then press the participation completion button on the event page to enter.

Through a draw among participants, a total of five people will receive a 'Tving opening kit' containing an iPad Mini, AirPods Pro 2, and a 12-month Tving Standard subscription. Additionally, 50 movie tickets for CGV and 300 one-month Tving Standard subscription vouchers are also prepared as gifts. The 'Find Tving' event will run from March 22 to April 20.
