Craig Kimbrel, who boasts 440 career saves in Major League Baseball, will wear the Atlanta Braves uniform again after 11 years.

According to a report from U.S. sports media ESPN on the 19th, Kimbrel has signed a minor league contract with Atlanta and is set to receive $2 million upon promotion to Major League Baseball.

The outlet reported, citing knowledgeable sources, that "Kimbrel is expected to elevate his performance over the next few weeks, and if everything goes according to plan, he is slated to join Atlanta's bullpen."

Born in 1988, Kimbrel began his big league career with Atlanta in 2010 and played there until 2014. He recorded 15 wins, 10 losses, and 186 saves with an earned run average of 1.43 while with Atlanta. He subsequently played for the San Diego Padres, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies, and Baltimore Orioles.

Kimbrel has appeared in a total of 837 big league games, achieving 56 wins, 47 losses, and 440 saves, with an earned run average of 2.59. From 2011 to 2014, Kimbrel recorded more than 40 saves for four consecutive years, setting a personal single-season record of 50 saves in 2013.

Last year, while with Baltimore, he took the mound 57 times, notching 7 wins, 5 losses, and 23 saves with an earned run average of 5.33.
