Angie Postecoglou (60) is increasingly likely to step down from his role as manager of Tottenham Hotspur. Potential successors include Andoni Iraola, Bournemouth's manager (42), and Marco Silva, Fulham's manager (47).

The British 'Telegraph' reported on the 18th (Korean time) that "if Tottenham dismisses Postecoglou, Iraola and Silva are seen as strong candidates for the next manager."

Tottenham has struggled recently, recording 1 draw and 2 losses in their last three league matches. Currently, they sit in 14th place with 34 points (10 wins, 4 draws, 15 losses). This marks the worst record since the 2008-2009 season, with 15 losses in 29 matches. 'Tottenham News' noted that "if you are a Tottenham fan, you would be worried about the remaining 9 matches, as they include strong teams like Chelsea, Liverpool, Nottingham, Aston Villa, Brighton, and Crystal Palace."

Tottenham's last hope lies in the UEFA Europa League (UEL). After being eliminated from the League Cup (Carabao Cup) and FA Cup, winning the UEL is their only chance to qualify for next season's European competitions. However, their quarterfinal opponent is Eintracht Frankfurt, currently 4th in the German Bundesliga, presenting a tough challenge. Former Tottenham player Jamie O'Hara analyzed that "Tottenham's performance is inconsistent. Frankfurt is a strong team. If they are eliminated, the chances of saying goodbye to Postecoglou are high."

'Telegraph' also noted, "UEL results will be a crucial factor for Postecoglou's retention as a manager," while stating, "However, there is no evidence that being eliminated in the quarterfinals would necessarily lead to his dismissal."

Among fans, voices calling for "Postecoglou OUT" are growing. 'Tottenham News' claimed that "Chairman Daniel Levy will soon dismiss Postecoglou. He no longer has the capability to lead this prestigious North London club." A scene of conflict with fans after the loss to Fulham on the 16th (0-2) has also sparked controversy. When a fan shouted, "What the hell is this?" Postecoglou was captured glaring back at the fan.

The future for Postecoglou appears uncertain. The 'Telegraph' conveyed, "He has maintained popularity among the players and fans despite a tough season, but cracks are forming. There are questions regarding his starting lineup." He substituted Wilson Odobert and James Maddison, who scored in the game against AZ Alkmaar, and Lucas Verribal was also left out of the starting lineup. Son Heung-min also experienced curious utilization methods.

Iraola, rumored to be a candidate for the next Tottenham manager, has proven his leadership by placing Bournemouth in 10th place this season, while Silva has lifted Fulham to 8th.

'Telegraph' hinted that "Iraola has shown interest in Tottenham. Silva has doubts about his future at Fulham."

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham will part ways with Postecoglou and choose a new direction or achieve a turnaround in the remaining season.
