The opening roster for Jang Hyun-sik will be determined based on his performance in the second team game on the 20th. Manager Yeom stated, "We will decide whether to include Hyun-sik in the roster after observing him pitch that day, or if he should pitch again on Saturday or Sunday and then be registered next Tuesday. In addition to the Jamsil game, the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) decided to cancel four games due to heavy snowfall, including the Doosan-KT game in Suwon, the Samsung-Hanwha game in Daejeon, and the SSG-KIA game in Gwangju. This is the first instance of heavy snowfall cancellation in seven years since the Doosan-SK game was canceled on March 21, 2018.

The Samsung-Hanwha game the previous day (17th) was played as a night game but ended in a cold game due to low temperatures after the fifth inning. The SSG-KIA spring training game scheduled for the 17th in Gwangju was canceled due to a cold wave, leading to two consecutive canceled games including the match on the 18th.
