Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) unfolded a uniform with the name and number of Lee Kang-in (24) after defeating their rival.

PSG won 3-1 against Marseille in a home match at Parc des Princes for the 26th round of the 2024-2025 French Ligue 1 on the 17th (Korean time).

PSG opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a goal by Ousmane Dembélé, and took control of the match with a second goal by Nuno Mendes in the 42nd minute. PSG conceded a consolation goal to Marseille's Amin Guiri in the 6th minute of the second half but solidified their victory with an own goal by Marseille's Pol Lirola in the 31st minute.

After the match, PSG released a group photo on the club's official social media, showing the players smiling brightly in the locker room. Notably, the uniform that appeared among the players stood out.

This uniform belonged to none other than Lee Kang-in, with the number '19' printed on it. The name Lee Kang-in was also clearly visible in English. Defender Marquinhos pointed to this uniform, indicating its significance. Lee Kang-in was seen laughing in the back.

This signifies that PSG has effectively secured the league title. With this victory, PSG accumulated 68 points (21 wins, 5 draws) and distanced themselves from second-place Marseille (49 points) by 19 points. The uniform of Lee Kang-in appeared in the commemorative photo to emphasize this number 19.

However, Lee Kang-in was not in the starting lineup that day. He was substituted in for Dembélé in the 35th minute after the victory was confirmed at 3-1. Lee Kang-in played for about 14 minutes and even took a shot in the 41st minute of the second half. However, he did not add to his attacking points.

Lee Kang-in has recorded 6 goals and 5 assists in the league this season. He will now join the South Korean national football team led by head coach Hong Myung-bo to prepare for two A matches in the third round of the 2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup qualifiers (on the 20th against Oman and the 25th against Jordan).
