Chungbuk Cheongju FC and the Cheongju Football Association signed a memorandum of understanding to promote local football development.
The two organizations plan to seek cooperation measures for the development of local football and the cultivation of youth players, further strengthening their ties with the community.
On March 17, Monday at 2 p.m., the signing ceremony held at the Chungbuk Cheongju FC office was attended by representatives from both organizations, including Chungbuk Cheongju FC Chief Executive Officer Kim Hyun-joo and the newly appointed president of the Cheongju Football Association, Lee Jong-hee.
Through this agreement, Chungbuk Cheongju FC and the Cheongju Football Association plan to collaboratively pursue various activities for fostering football talents and expanding the base of football in the region.
Chungbuk Cheongju FC is working to communicate with the community through football and is striving for the development of football in the Chungbuk province. With this agreement, the club plans to closely cooperate with the Cheongju Football Association to further promote regional football development and the spread of football culture.
Lee Jong-hee, president of the Cheongju Football Association, noted, "The agreement between Chungbuk Cheongju FC and the Cheongju Football Association is expected to greatly contribute to the development of local football. Our joint efforts for cultivating youth players and expanding the football base will serve as a crucial opportunity to enhance the competitiveness of local football."
Chungbuk Cheongju FC Chief Executive Officer Kim Hyun-joo stated, "I am pleased that this agreement allows us to contribute further to the development of local football together with the Cheongju Football Association. We will continue our various efforts for the cultivation of youth football and revitalization of local football, and we will do our best to be a club that grows alongside our fans and the community."
Meanwhile, Chungbuk Cheongju FC will face Daejeon Koreail FC in the second round of the 2025 Hana Bank Korea Cup on March 22, Saturday at 2 p.m. at the auxiliary stadium of Daejeon World Cup Stadium.
