On the 16th, at the Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul, the main event heavyweight match of Gubne ROAD FC 072 was held. The 'Japanese trickster' Sekino Taisei won by TKO. The opponent was Kwon Asol. Taisei defeated Kwon Asol with a pounding at 1 minute and 55 seconds into the second round.

Taisei, who defeated Shim Geon-oh in the heavyweight match at the Wonju MMA Sports Festival - Gubne ROAD FC 071 last year, has now defeated Kwon Asol, the former ROAD FC champion. There is no denying that he is the strongest heavyweight in ROAD FC.

In fact, Kwon Asol was not a match for Taisei. Taisei had wanted to face 'ROAD FC two-division champion' Kim Tae-in. Taisei has lost to Kim Tae-in before. Therefore, he was eagerly awaiting the event in March at Jangchung.

However, two days before the event, Kim Tae-in sustained an injury. He injured his knee during training, making it impossible for him to fight Taisei.

Although he lost to Taisei, the main event of the tournament was carried out smoothly thanks to him. After the match, Kwon Asol stated, "I think my kids and wife are watching the match at home," and added, "I apologize for showing a disappointing performance today.
