Professional baseball team KT Wiz (CEO Lee Ho-sik) will hold its home opening ceremony for the Futures game against the KIA Tigers at Iksan National Baseball Stadium at 1 p.m. on the 18th.

On that day, the team will hold a fans' signing event before the game, allowing the players to meet baseball fans. Additionally, as a welcome gift for fans who visit the stadium, they will provide a Bigtori camping set, Iksan woven patches, and snack sets on a first-come, first-served basis.

In conjunction with the home opening ceremony, KT Sports CEO Lee Ho-sik will proclaim the start of the season, and Iksan Mayor Jeong Heon-yul will give a commemorative speech and throw the ceremonial first pitch, with the first pitch thrown by Kim Kyung-jin, the chairperson of Iksan City.

Director General Kim Joo-il and RAY will also visit the Iksan stadium to boost the cheering atmosphere with special performances and various events. After the game, there will be a winning message lottery event where valuable prizes, such as team jumpers, will be given away.

Meanwhile, as part of its ESG management implementation, KT plans to sign an agreement to accumulate a donation of 300,000 won for each Futures home game win to support the vulnerable groups in Iksan.

In addition, they will actively promote local marketing aimed at expanding the baseball base in Iksan, including inviting fans to the Futures Summer League games, conducting Futures stadium tour programs, and holding the Iksan Day event during the Suwon home game.
