Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) has been named the Premier League's (PL) record winner.

The Premier League (PL) office announced on the 15th (Korean time) through the official channel that Salah has been selected as the player of the month for February.

As a result, Salah received the PL player of the month award for the second time in the 2024-2025 season, and the seventh time overall, achieving a tie for the most awards in history with Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) and Sergio Agüero (retired).

Previously, he was level with Cristiano Ronaldo (Al Nassr) and Steven Gerrard (retired), but with this award, he now holds the record for the most overall awards.

In February, Salah played in six Premier League matches, recording six goals and four assists.

Of course, Salah's contract with Liverpool ends in June. Therefore, there are questions about whether he will be able to surpass Kane and Agüero.

Salah has recorded 32 goals and 22 assists in 42 official matches this season. He aims to surpass his record of 44 goals and 14 assists in 52 official matches during his first season at Liverpool.

The future at Liverpool is uncertain. Salah's contract will expire at the end of this season. However, there has been no news of a contract extension even as the second half of the season approaches.
