The professional baseball team Samsung Lions hit three home runs to avenge their loss to the LG Twins in the exhibition game.
Samsung won 5-3 against LG in the 2025 KBO League exhibition game held at Daegu Samsung Lions Park on the 14th. Jeon Byeong-woo excelled with two home runs, going two for three with three RBIs and two runs. Kim Ji-chan also recorded two hits in three at-bats, including one home run, one RBI, and two runs.

LG started their comeback in the top of the fifth inning. Leadoff hitter Hong Chang-ki reached base with a single to center against Samsung pitcher Hong Won-pyo. Then, Park Hae-min drew a walk, creating a chance with no outs and runners on first and second. Kim Hyun-soo hit a timely single to right to narrow the gap by one run. With no outs and runners on the corners, a wild pitch allowed the runners to advance to second and third. Moon Bo-kyung followed with a sacrifice fly to left, bringing the score to 2-4.
With one out and a runner on second, Choi Seung-min, the runner at second base, successfully stole third, and Oh Ji-hwan hit a timely single to right to close the gap to 3-4. Following that, Shin Min-jae, the pinch runner at first, failed to steal second, resulting in two outs. Samsung replaced the pitcher with Kim Dae-woo. Following Kim Dae-woo, Song Eun-beom took the mound in the sixth inning with two outs and a runner on first, recording perfect pitching against four batters. He ended the inning by getting Lee Young-bin to ground out to the pitcher, and in the seventh, he dismissed Shin Min-jae on a ground ball to short, Song Chan-hee on a fly out to center, and struck out Moon Jeong-bin.
In the eighth inning, right-handed pitcher Lee Seung-hyun came in and finished the inning in order with only six pitches, easily taking care of Koo Bon-hyuk on a fly out to center, Oh Ji-hwan on a ground out to short, and Choi Won-young on a ground out to short.
Samsung led 5-3 as Jeon Jae-yoon came in to close in the ninth inning. He allowed a hit to Lee Young-bin after two outs but managed to secure the victory without allowing any runs.
