Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) held the inaugural ceremony for the '21st KBO college marketers' on March 13 (Thursday) at the KBO studio. At this event, KBO college marketers expressed their expectations for the activities by presenting their individual goals and aspirations.

Consisting of 10 university students, the KBO college marketers will plan, produce, and operate various social media exclusive contents and events related to the KBO league that fans can enjoy both online and offline during the season, thereby enhancing fan communication. In particular, this year, they will focus on producing various forms of digital content, such as short-form videos, utilizing game broadcast footage and scenes shot during the games. Additionally, they will have opportunities to grow as professionals in the sports industry through presentations aimed at revitalizing the league and mentoring from experts in the professional sports industry, along with regular meetings.

Heo Koo-yeon, the KBO commissioner, welcomed the college marketers attending the ceremony by saying, "I expect you to create innovative content that allows fans to enjoy the KBO league more diversely, in addition to the content uploaded to the KBO official account." He also added, "I hope you will take this as a stepping stone to grow as professionals in the sports industry by learning from many senior colleagues working in the field."

The content produced by the college marketers will be uploaded to the official Instagram (@kbo_marketer) and official YouTube of the KBO college marketers. KBO plans to continue operating various programs for the development of the baseball industry and to expand its fan base.
