The Korea Professional Baseball Kiwoom Heroes showcased a fiery home run show, clinching their second consecutive victory in the exhibition games.

Kiwoom won 7-6 against the SSG Landers in the exhibition game of the '2025 Shinhan Bank SOL Bank KBO League' held at Incheon SSG Landers Field on the 13th. It is a two-game winning streak after two consecutive losses.

Kiwoom, which formed its starting lineup with Song Seung-moon, Ruben Cardenas, Lee Joo-hyung, Kim Dong-yeop, Park Joo-hong, Jang Jae-young, Jeon Tae-hyun (third baseman), Kim Keon-hee, and Kim Tae-jin (shortstop), led the team to victory with home runs from Song Seung-moon, Lee Joo-hyung, and Kim Keon-hee. In particular, Lee Joo-hyung showcased a hot hitting streak with back-to-back home runs in the last two games.

Starting pitcher Jung Hyun-woo recorded a win with 4 innings, 3 hits allowed, 1 walk, 3 strikeouts, and no earned runs. He achieved two consecutive wins in the exhibition games, both without allowing any earned runs. In the bottom of the first inning with one out, SSG's Jung Jun-jae made it to second base on a hit and a throwing error by the pitcher. After a groundout by Park Seong-han advanced the runners to third with two outs, Go Myeong-jun struck out swinging, wasting the scoring chance. In the third inning, leadoff hitter Ahn Sang-hyun reached base on a hit and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Choi Sang-min, but he was caught by the pitcher’s pick-off, and after a hit by Park Ji-hwan and a walk by Jung Jun-jae, Park Seong-han struck out standing, squandering the opportunity.

The previously quiet Kiwoom saw leadoff hitter Jeon Tae-hyun draw a walk in the fourth inning, and Kim Keon-hee hit a two-run home run to solidify their lead. Following that, Song Seung-moon drew a walk to continue the offensive opportunity, but Cardenas hit into a 5-4-3 double play. SSG began their comeback in the bottom of the fifth inning with a leadoff hit by Jo Hyeong-woo, followed by Ahn Sang-hyun and Choi Sang-min hitting consecutive hits, creating a bases-loaded opportunity. Park Ji-hwan contributed a sacrifice fly for one run, and in the subsequent situation with one out and runners on second and third, Jung Jun-jae hit a two-run infield hit, quickly narrowing the gap to 3-6. In the situation with one out and runners on first and second, Park Seong-han's walk led to Go Myeong-jun and Oh Tae-gon both striking out, preventing further scoring. It was disappointing that Oh Tae-gon's ball grazed the right field foul pole and did not turn into a home run.
