The Lotte Giants and Hanwha Eagles ended their home run battle in a draw.

The exhibition game between Hanwha and Lotte, held at Busan's Sajik Stadium on the 13th, ended in a 3-3 tie. In the bottom of the 4th inning, Lotte's Jeon Joon-woo hit a two-run homer off Ryu Hyun-jin, followed by Hanwha's Noh Si-hwan hitting a two-run homer in the top of the 5th. Shortly after, Lotte's Yoon Dong-hee hit a solo shot in the bottom of the 5th, resulting in three home runs from both teams.

The exhibition results showed Hanwha with 2 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw, while Lotte marked 2 wins, 1 loss, and 2 draws.

The first score was by Hanwha. In the top of the 2nd inning, against Lotte starting pitcher Tucker Davidson, Chae Eun-sung and Kim Tae-yeon each hit singles, one to right field and the other to left field. With the bases loaded and one out due to Lee Won-seok's walk, a hit-by-pitch by Choi Jae-hoon resulted in a push-in run.

Having been held scoreless by Hanwha's starting pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin through the 3rd inning, Lotte mounted a counterattack in the bottom of the 4th. After two outs, Na Seung-yeop hit a single to center-right, and then Jeon Joon-woo hit a two-run homer to left-center. He connected with a fastball at 145 km/h that was well placed inside on Ryu Hyun-jin's 5th pitch, sending it over the left-center fence. The distance was 120 meters, marking the first home run of the exhibition.

In response, Hanwha also countered with a home run. In the top of the 5th, after one out, Esteban Florial hit a single to center, followed by Noh Si-hwan hitting a two-run homer to left-center. He targeted a slider thrown by Lotte's reliever Park Se-woong, which was high and center at 136 km/h, launching it for a distance of 125 meters, marking his second home run in the exhibition following the game against SSG on the 11th.

Lotte responded with another home run. In the bottom of the 5th, with two outs and no runners on base, Yoon Dong-hee hit a solo home run off Hanwha's new pitcher Kim Seo-hyun. He connected with a fastball pitched high and outside at 152 km/h, sending it over for a big home run at 130 meters. This became Yoon Dong-hee's first home run of the exhibition, tying the game at 3-3.

Both teams' starters smoothly raised their performance. Hanwha's starter Ryu Hyun-jin pitched 4 innings, allowing 4 hits (1 home run), 1 walk, and striking out 3 while giving up 2 runs, perfectly matching the planned 65 pitches. He utilized a fastball averaging 143 km/h with a peak speed of 147 km/h, throwing 37 fastballs, 19 changeups, and 9 curves.

In the batting lineup, Hanwha's Kim Tae-yeon excelled with 3 hits and 2 walks, marking a 5 on-base game. Hanwha's Lee Jin-young, Florial, and Shim Woo-jun, as well as Lotte's Jeon Joon-woo, recorded two hits each.
