As Liverpool approaches the Premier League title, the team has already begun preparations for its attacking lineup for next season.

The British publication 'Caught Offside' noted on the 11th (Korean time) that "Liverpool, a strong contender for the league championship and aiming for the UEFA Champions League title, has most of its goals concentrated on Mohamed Salah."

Liverpool continues to dominate the league by scoring the highest goals this season. With 70 points (21 wins, 7 draws, 1 loss), the team is 15 points ahead of second-place Arsenal (55 points).

Above all, Liverpool's attack, which has scored the most goals in the league (69 goals), deserves praise. However, there are concerns that most of the focus on goals is on Salah.

Salah is racing toward the top scorer title with 27 goals. He is 7 goals ahead of second-place Erling Haaland (Manchester City), who has scored 20 goals. However, besides Salah, Luis Díaz (9 goals), Cody Gakpo (8 goals), Dominik Szoboszlai, Diogo Jota, and Darwin Núñez (all 5 goals) have shown relatively disappointing performances.

Salah's contract with Liverpool will expire at the end of this season. If he does not sign a new contract, he will not be able to play for Liverpool next season. If Salah leaves as a free agent, the possibility of Liverpool facing challenges in its attacking lineup is high.

Naturally, Liverpool's reinforcement this summer is expected to be in the attacking lineup. According to reports, Liverpool is showing interest in signing Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram (28).

Thuram, who hails from France, joined Inter Milan from Borussia Mönchengladbach last year. At that time, he was also linked with Tottenham, Bayern Munich, Atlético Madrid, and Manchester United.

Thuram is the eldest son of legendary French defender Lilian Thuram (53). Lilian Thuram, who played for AS Monaco, Parma, Juventus, and Barcelona, has earned 142 caps for the French national team and contributed to winning the 1998 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2000.

Thuram is a physical powerhouse, boasting a height (192 cm) greater than his father Lilian (182 cm). He has been active as a striker with his physicality and possesses threatening dribbling skills with speed.

This season, Thuram has scored 13 goals and provided 4 assists in 27 league matches, totaling 15 goals and 4 assists in 36 matches. Known for his high goal-scoring ability, he is considered one of the top strikers in the world in the box.

For Liverpool to sign Thuram this summer, they will need to pay the buyout amount. Reports suggest that Thuram's buyout clause, which is valid until 2028 with Inter Milan, is £70 million (approximately 131.5 billion won).

Arsenal, under manager Mikel Arteta, has also shown interest in signing Thuram. However, recent reports indicate that Arsenal's top target has shifted to Serbian forward Benjamin Šeško (22, RB Leipzig), giving Liverpool a relative advantage.

Inter Milan considers Thuram to be a key player alongside Lautaro Martinez. Therefore, if Liverpool does not pay the buyout amount in full, it seems unlikely they will acquire Thuram.
