Interest from Inter Milan towards Kim Min-jae (29, Munich) continues.
The Italian 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' reported, "Serie A champions Inter Milan had requested to loan Kim Min-jae from Munich. Kim Min-jae was struggling to adapt in his first season in Germany. However, Munich had no intention of letting Kim Min-jae go and rejected Inter Milan's request."
Kim Min-jae was recognized for his abilities by leading Napoli to the Serie A title after 33 years. From Inter Milan's perspective, the proven defender Kim Min-jae is a coveted asset. Kim Min-jae happened to be in a situation where he was competing for a starting position against Eric Dier in his first season at Munich.
Munich did not let Kim Min-jae go. New head coach Vincent Kompany has elevated Kim Min-jae to a key role. This season, Kim Min-jae is performing as a regular starter.
The outlet noted, "Inter Milan has not given up on Kim Min-jae yet. They will attempt to acquire Kim Min-jae again this summer."
Inter Milan wants Kim Min-jae in anticipation of the departure of Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij. De Vrij is receiving significant interest from the Saudi league.
