The professional baseball team Kiwoom Heroes successfully completed their 2025 season spring camp, held from Jan. 23 to Feb. 4 for a total of 41 days in Arizona, U.S., and Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The team will return home on Feb. 5, using China Airlines flight CI164, arriving at Incheon International Airport's Terminal 2 at 10:55 a.m.

The Kiwoom team trained with an emphasis on strengthening stamina, fundamentals, and teamwork with a six days of training and one day of rest schedule in the Arizona spring camp. From Jan. 18, they started a second camp in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where they played eight practice games against a Taiwanese professional baseball team to enhance their game sense. Their record in the eight games was three wins, four losses, and one tie.

Sixteen players training at the Kaohsiung Futures team camp moved to the first team camp. Notably, left-handed prospect Jung Hyun-woo, who was drafted overall first, joined along with nine rookie players to participate in practice games and assess their skills.

Hong Won-ki, the Kiwoom manager who led the spring camp, noted, "We smoothly carried out the planned schedule from Arizona, U.S., to Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I appreciate the hard work of the players who did their best, as well as the coaching staff and front office who supported them."

Continuing, Manager Hong expressed that "the most satisfactory aspect is that all participating players finished training without major injuries" and added, "Through this camp, we sketched out the operational plans for the season, and after returning home, we plan to finalize our preparations for the season by addressing the deficiencies through the exhibition games."

Finally, Manager Hong anticipated that "the rookie players also joined the second camp, where they would have learned the team's atmosphere and culture. I expect it has been an opportunity for them to grow by learning and feeling on their own."

After returning home, Kiwoom will take a day's rest before training in Goyang on Feb. 7. They will then move to Changwon and start their exhibition games against the NC Dinos on Feb. 8.
