The professional baseball LG Twins achieved a second consecutive victory in a practice game.

LG won 5-0 against the Samsung Lions in a practice game held on April 1 at Akama Stadium in Okinawa, Japan. This marks their second consecutive win in practice games during the Okinawa camp, following a 3-1 victory against KIA on March 27.

Starting pitcher Lim Chan-kyu recorded 2 innings, allowing 1 hit, 1 walk, 1 strikeout, and no runs. The bullpen, consisting of Song Seung-ki (1 inning, no runs), Lee Ji-kang (1 inning, no runs), Lee Woo-chan (1 inning, no runs), Son Ju-young (2 innings, no runs), Kim Dae-hyun (1 inning, no runs), and Heo Joon-hyuk (1 inning, no runs), also finished the game cleanly, securing a shutout victory.

In the top of the first inning, lead-off hitter Hong Chang-ki reached base on a walk. Park Hae-min recorded a pop fly to left field, and Austin struck out, but Moon Bo-kyung walked to create a two-out chance with runners on first and second. However, Kim Hyun-soo also struck out, wasting the scoring opportunity.

Samsung also created a no-out chance with Ji-chan leading off with a hit in the bottom of the first inning. Kim Heon-gon's Samjin and Koo Ja-wook's walk led to a one-out chance with runners on first and second, but Diaz hit into a 3-4-3 double play, squandering the opportunity.

In the top of the second inning, lead-off hitter O Ji-hwan reached base with a hit. Park Dong-won was caught out on a pop fly to left field, but Moon Jung-bin hit a double, creating a one-out chance with runners on second and third. However, Shin Min-jae's line drive was caught by the shortstop, leading to a double play and quickly ending the attack.

After missing two chances, LG had a lead-off walk by Hong Chang-ki in the third inning. Park Hae-min was caught out on a pop fly to center field, but Austin hit a double, creating a one-out chance with runners on second and third. Moon Bo-kyung scored the first run with an RBI groundout. With two outs and a runner on third, Kim Hyun-soo was caught out on a pop fly to left field, and no additional runs scored.

In the fourth inning, LG's offense remained strong. Lead-off hitter O Ji-hwan reached base with a hit, followed by Park Dong-won's double, creating a no-out chance with runners on second and third. Moon Jung-bin hit a 1-RBI single. Shin Min-jae added another run with a 1-RBI single. In a two-out situation with a runner on third after Hong Chang-ki's groundout, Park Hae-min hit a 1-RBI single, extending the score to 4-0. Following Austin's walk, Moon Bo-kyung hit a sharp line drive, but shortstop Lee Jae-hyun made a fantastic play to avert the crisis. In the fifth, O Ji-hwan hit a solo home run for another run.

After that, both teams engaged in a tight pitching battle. No scoring occurred until the ninth inning. In Samsung's last at-bat in the ninth, Heo Joon-hyuk took the mound and finished the game without allowing any runs.
