The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) announced on the 28th that it has sent KBO record commissioners to the spring training sites of 10 teams, including Japan and Taiwan, to distribute pitch clock guidance materials and hold briefings to enhance understanding.
The briefing, conducted for all 10 teams, included KBO record commissioners, operational team staff, and coaches and staff from each team.
The KBO distributed pitch clock guidance materials and held briefings and Q&A sessions to ensure that the pitch clock measurement standards were clearly communicated to the teams and players.
Additionally, during practice games, recorders conducted on-site measurements of the pitch clock to enhance practical experience.
The KBO plans to continuously work to ensure that the pitch clock, which will be officially introduced in the 2025 season, smoothly integrates into the KBO league.
