Speed skating male long-distance star Jung Jae-won (Uijeongbu City Hall) finished in 4th place in the men's 1500 meters at the 2025 Harbin Winter Asian Games.

The gap with 3rd place Ryota Kojima from Japan (1 minute 48.47 seconds) was 0.11 seconds.

The victory went to China's Ning Zhongyan, who set a new Asian and Asian Games record of 1 minute 46.26 seconds, breaking the previous record held by Kim Min-seok (current Hungarian national representative) from the 2017 Sapporo Asian Games, which was 1 minute 46.26 seconds.

In the women's 1500 meters, middle-distance star Park Ji-woo (Gangwon Provincial Office) finished in 5th place with a time of 2 minutes 00.53 seconds.

The victory was claimed by China's Han Mei, who crossed the finish line in 1 minute 57.58 seconds.
