On Sunday the 13th, thick clouds will blanket most of the country.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, from dawn to morning there will be spots of light drizzle under 0.1 mm in parts of northern Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, and central and northern Gangwon. From afternoon to nighttime, 5–10 mm of rain is expected in the mountainous areas around Hallasan on Jeju Island.
Morning lows will start off cool at 12–21 degrees, and daytime highs will rise to a warm 23–31 degrees. For the time being, with marked day-to-night temperature swings focused inland, take extra care of your health during the seasonal transition.
By region, morning lows will be 15–19 degrees in the capital area, 12–18 in Gangwon, 14–17 in Daejeon, Sejong and South Chungcheong, 13–18 in Daegu and North Gyeongsang, 14–18 in North Jeolla, 16–20 in Gwangju and South Jeolla, and 15–21 in Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang.
Daytime highs are forecast at 23–26 degrees in the capital area, 20–26 in Gangwon, 25–28 in Daejeon, Sejong and South Chungcheong, 25–31 in Daegu and North Gyeongsang, 25–29 in North Jeolla, 28–31 in Gwangju and South Jeolla, and 29–31 in Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang.
Fine dust levels will range from "good" to "moderate" nationwide.
Waves will be relatively calm at around 0.5 meters in the nearshore Yellow Sea and 0.5–1.0 meters in the nearshore East and South seas. In offshore waters within about 200 km of the coastline, waves are expected at 0.5–1.5 meters in the East and South seas and 0.5–1.0 meters in the Yellow Sea.
