Police launched an investigation after a woman in her 60s who had been reported missing was found dead in a cafe freezer warehouse in Paju, Gyeonggi. Police identified the cafe owner as a suspect and arrested the person.
According to police on the 7th, a missing person report for a woman in her 60s, identified as A, was filed at dawn on the 4th in Seoul.
While tracking A's whereabouts, police found A dead at about 2:20 p.m. the same day in a cafe freezer warehouse in Munsan-eup, Paju, Gyeonggi.
Police identified a man, B, the operator of the cafe, as a suspect and arrested the person in Seoul the same day.
Police believe B confined A in the warehouse and are investigating the relationship between the two and the circumstances that led to A's death.
