On Sunday the 6th, the country will see mostly clear and sunny weather. However, it will be cool in the morning and warmer in the afternoon, with a wide day-to-night temperature swing expected.
Morning lows are forecast at 16–23 C, and daytime highs at 24–30 C. With the large temperature difference, it is advisable to take care of your health when going out.
Light rain will fall in parts of the Gangwon mountains, the northeastern mountains of North Gyeongsang, and Jeju. From the afternoon, rain will begin along the Gangwon East Coast and the northern East Coast of North Gyeongsang, and from nighttime, some areas of the southern East Coast of North Gyeongsang and the eastern inland of Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang will also see rain.
Expected rainfall is 5–10 mm for the Gangwon East Coast and mountains, the East Coast and northeastern mountains of North Gyeongsang, and the eastern inland of Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang. On Jeju, 20–60 mm is expected in the mountains and mid-slope areas, and 5–20 mm along the coast.
At sea, strong winds and high waves are expected to persist for the time being, mainly along the East Coast and around Jeju. In particular, swell waves may move in, so extra caution is needed along the shoreline to prevent accidents.
Wave heights will be 1.0–4.0 m off the East Sea, 0.5–1.5 m off the West Sea, and 0.5–4.0 m off the South Sea.
In the inner offshore waters within about 200 km of the coastline, wave heights are expected to be 1.0–4.0 m in the East Sea, 0.5–3.0 m in the West Sea, and 1.5–4.0 m in the South Sea.
