On the 5th, the first weekend of September and a Saturday, most of the country will be mostly clear with cool early autumn weather in the morning and evening.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 4th, the country will see mostly clear and sunny weather on the 5th. Morning lows are forecast at 16–23 degrees Celsius, with afternoon highs at 25–31 degrees.
By region, morning temperatures in the central areas, including the Seoul metropolitan area and the Chungcheong region, will fall below 20 degrees, such as Seoul (19 degrees), Chuncheon (17 degrees), Gangneung (18 degrees), and Cheongju (19 degrees).
As for afternoon highs, most areas will stay below 30 degrees except for the Jeolla region, including Gwangju (32 degrees) and Jeonju (30 degrees).
However, rain is expected along the east coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon and on Jeju Island, and winds will be strong mainly along the south coast. Expected rainfall is 5–10 mm in the Gangwon mountains, less than 5 mm in the mid-to-southern east coast of Gangwon, 5–10 mm in the northern east coast of North Gyeongsang and the northeastern mountains, and 5–20 mm in the mountainous and mid-mountain areas of Jeju.
High waves and strong swells are also expected at sea. Waves will run high in the South Sea and East Sea, and strong swells are forecast to flow into the coasts of Jeju Island, the south coast, and the east coast.
Waves will be 1.0–3.5 meters off the East Sea, 0.5–1.5 meters off the West Sea, and 0.5–3.5 meters off the South Sea.
Fine dust levels are expected to be at a "good" level in all regions nationwide.
