Actor Jung Il-woo delivered a donation to Good Neighbors to help residents and children in areas of Nepal hit by severe flooding.
According to Good Neighbors on the 2nd, Jung Il-woo's donation will be used for emergency relief activities in major affected areas, including Nuwakot and Gorkha in Nepal.
Jung Il-woo said, "I want to offer even a small measure of support to residents and children affected by the sudden flooding," and, "I sincerely hope the affected areas are restored as soon as possible and people can return to their peaceful daily lives."
With this donation, Jung Il-woo joined The Neighbors Club, a special membership group of Good Neighbors. The Neighbors Club is a group of members who have donated more than 10 million won annually and continue steady sharing activities.
Jung Il-woo previously forged ties with Good Neighbors and has continued sharing activities after meeting local children and residents while filming the Madagascar episode of KBS "Love Beyond the Sea." On May 5, he also took part as the ceremonial first pitcher at "Good Neighbors Day" held at Changwon NC Park, delivering a message cheering on children's dreams.
Good Neighbors has been providing food, daily necessities, and hygiene supplies to displaced people in Nepal's Nuwakot region since the 28th of last month. It is also creating child-friendly spaces and offering psychosocial support for affected children.
