Actor Kim Su-hyun, 38, shared an update in an interview with Indonesian television.
Kim Su-hyun's agency Gold Medalist on the 1st posted part of a video interview with Indonesian private broadcaster RCTI+ on its official social media.
In the video, Kim Su-hyun took the interview with a bright expression and shared a message to fans.
Kim Su-hyun said, "I feel I did well to become an actor," and added, "I wonder if I should take recommendations for drama characters fans want," showing an easygoing side.
He went on to say he "really wants to visit Bali at least once," and, asking "Are you curious about my bag?," he revealed items he carries in it.
Earlier, on the 23rd of last month, Kim Su-hyun appeared as a special guest on the live broadcast special "Mahakarya RCTI 37," marking RCTI's 37th anniversary. This interview also appears to have been conducted during that Indonesia schedule.
He will continue activities overseas. Kim Su-hyun is set to hold a fan meeting in the Philippines in Oct. On the 19th of this month, he will appear on a domestic stage through the domestic music awards "The Fact Co. Music Awards," and in December he will also attend "AAA 2026."
Kim Su-hyun halted activities last year after private-life allegations related to the late Kim Sae-ron surfaced. The bereaved family of Kim Sae-ron and Kim Se-eui, operator of the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, raised allegations that Kim Su-hyun had dated the deceased since the time she was a minor, and Kim Su-hyun's side flatly denied this and pursued legal action.
Police decided not to refer the case related to Kim Su-hyun for violating the Child Welfare Act and false accusation charges, citing insufficient evidence.
A legal representative for Kim Su-hyun said they hope more people will view the matter based on objectively verified facts. Kim Se-eui has been indicted and detained on charges including defamation, violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, intimidation, and attempted coercion.
