Law firm Daeryuk Aju and law firm Lin will hold an open call to choose a new name for their merged firm ahead of their merger next month.
The Daeryuk Aju–Lin merger promotion committee said on the 31st that it will solicit names for the merged law firm for four days from the 7th to the 10th. Anyone can participate, even if they do not work in the legal field.
Applicants may freely submit by email a proposed name for the merged law firm along with its meaning and expected impact.
The winner will be selected after review by an internal judging panel. The results will be announced on the 15th on the Daeryuk Aju and Lin websites.
Prizes total 10 million won: grand prize 5 million won, top excellence award 3 million won, and excellence award 2 million won.
Daeryuk Aju and Lin said they plan to choose a name that embraces both firms' strengths and identities while reflecting the merged firm's vision and forward-looking values.
The two law firms plan to launch as a new merged firm next month through their merger.
