On Saturday the 29th, the country will be mostly cloudy with rain and showers in places. In particular, up to 80 mm of heavy rain is forecast, centered on the Chungcheong region. Most areas nationwide will see continued rain, though some places may temporarily ease depending on the region.
From morning to afternoon, showers are expected in Seoul, Incheon, and northwestern Gyeonggi, and northeastern Gyeonggi and central and northern Gangwon may see showers through the afternoon.
Expected rainfall is 5–10 mm in Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, and the five West Sea islands; 10–40 mm in southern Gyeonggi; 10–50 mm in southern Gangwon; and 5–20 mm in central and northern Gangwon. Daejeon, Sejong, South Chungcheong, North Chungcheong, and North Jeolla will see 20–80 mm; Gwangju, South Jeolla, Busan, Ulsan, South Gyeongsang, Daegu, and North Gyeongsang 20–60 mm; and Jeju Island 5–40 mm of rain.
In Gunsan, North Jeolla, a heavy rain advisory is in effect for areas except Okdo-myeon, and in some places where it is raining, downpours of around 20 mm per hour are expected.
Rainfall from showers is expected to be 5–30 mm each in Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, and central and northern Gangwon.
Daytime highs are forecast at 26–32 C.
As of 5 a.m. that day, temperatures in major areas were 25.5 C in Seoul, 25.9 C in Incheon, 24.7 C in Suwon, 23.4 C in Chuncheon, 22.3 C in Gangneung, 26.0 C in Cheongju, 25.6 C in Daejeon, 26.2 C in Jeonju, 25.7 C in Gwangju, and 27.3 C in Jeju. Daegu was 25.4 C, Busan 26.0 C, Ulsan 24.8 C, and Changwon 26.2 C.
Fine dust levels are expected to be at a "good" level nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effects of rainfall.
Waves will run 0.5–2.0 meters off the East Sea, 0.5–1.0 meters off the West Sea, and 0.5–1.5 meters off the South Sea. In the outer nearshore waters within about 200 km of the coastline, wave heights will be 1.0–2.5 meters in the East Sea and 0.5–2.5 meters in the West and South seas.
