On Sunday the 30th, the country will be mostly cloudy with rain in places.
In the capital area and Gangwon Province, many areas will see the rain ease after the morning. Heavy rain is expected mainly in the Chungcheong region and northwestern North Jeolla Province, so extra caution is needed for flooding in low-lying areas and landslides.
From the 30th to the 31st, expected rainfall is 30–100 mm in southern Gyeonggi, 10–60 mm in Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, and the five West Sea islands, 30–80 mm in southern Gangwon, 5–40 mm in central and northern Gangwon, and 80–150 mm in Daejeon, Sejong, and South Chungcheong (over 200 mm in some areas), and 50–100 mm in North Chungcheong (over 150 mm in some areas).
Also, North Jeolla will see 50–150 mm (over 200 mm in northwestern North Jeolla), Gwangju and South Jeolla 30–80 mm (over 100 mm in some areas), Daegu, North Gyeongsang, Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang 30–80 mm, and Jeju Island 10–60 mm of rain.
Morning lows are forecast at 20–26 C, with daytime highs at 26–33 C.
Waves will run 0.5–2.0 meters off the east coast, 0.5–1.0 meters off the west coast, and 0.5–1.5 meters off the south coast.
Wave heights in the inner offshore waters (the offshore area within about 200 km of the coastline) are expected to be 0.5–2.5 meters in the East Sea and 0.5–2.0 meters in the West and South Seas.
