Incheon apartment worker dies in suspected electrocution while showering

Police launched an investigation after a management office employee in his 20s was found dead in a mechanical room at an apartment in Incheon.

According to the Incheon Fire Headquarters on the 24th, a report came in at 10:37 a.m. on the 23rd that A, a male management office employee in his 20s, was not breathing in an underground mechanical room at an apartment in Okr yeon-dong, Yeonsu District, Incheon.

When firefighters dispatched in response to the report arrived at the scene, A was already dead.

Police and fire authorities believe A was electrocuted while showering in a shower room inside the mechanical room and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident and the cause of the electrocution.
