On the 23rd, showers are expected in many places across the country from the afternoon. Where showers fall, temperatures will briefly drop, but after the rain stops, temperatures will rise again in humid conditions and it will be hot.
Until the morning of the 23rd, there will be places in the Seoul metropolitan area and the central and northern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon with raindrops of less than 0.1 mm. From the afternoon, showers are expected in parts of Jeju Island; southern and northeastern Gyeonggi; inland and mountainous Gangwon; South Chungcheong; western North Jeolla; and the western inland of South Gyeongsang.
Expected precipitation from the showers is 5–40 mm for southern and northeastern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous Gangwon, South Chungcheong, western North Jeolla, and Jeju Island. Gwangju and western South Jeolla and the western inland of South Gyeongsang will see 5–30 mm.
In regions with showers, there may be thunder and lightning with gusty winds, so caution is advised to prevent accidents.
Daytime highs are forecast at 31–35 C.
