A man in his 30s accused of luring a freelance makeup artist he found through the used-goods platform karrot to his home and raping her has been arrested by police.
The Gwanak Police Station in Seoul said on the 19th that it booked a man in his 30s, identified as A, on suspicion of rape and other charges and is investigating.
According to police, on the 2nd A posted a message on karrot's part-time job service "Karrot Alba" saying he was "looking for someone to do on-site makeup for a profile photo shoot."
When B, who applied after seeing the post, went to A's home, A unilaterally attempted physical contact. Although B expressed refusal, A was found to have committed rape.
B then got out of A's home and reported it to police. Police are investigating A for the specific details of the crime.
